Founded in 2020 amid global upheaval, EnCompass Academy was created by parents, teachers, and administrators to offer in-person learning for diverse learners. Their shared commitment in uncertain times shaped the foundation of EA today

At EnCompass Academy, we provide a personalized, inclusive approach, ensuring students of all abilities get the support they need to thrive. Rooted in a nurturing philosophy, we adapt to each student’s strengths, fostering academic, intellectual, and emotional growth. Our trauma-informed, year-round model offers stability and continuity for students to reach their full potential.

While EnCompass Academy focuses on learning, EnCompass Services provides resources to nurture the whole child, helping students and families thrive in all aspects of their journey.

Finding Your Way with Services

Description: TBRI™ is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of children. TBRI™ uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.

Benefits: TBRI™ Caregiver Training equips staff and caregivers with essential skills, providing a holistic approach for supporting children’s unique needs.”

Services: TBRI™ Caregiver Training, Parent Coaching and Consultation

Description: Our Student Support Services offer tailored assistance for students with IEPs and specific learning needs, working closely with families, schools, and specialists to meet each child’s unique goals.

Benefits: We provide families with expert guidance through the IEP process, ensuring students receive the necessary accommodations for academic and social success.

Services: Advocate for School Meetings, Consultation on current plans more.

Description: S2C™ is a communication method for individuals who are non-speaking or have limited reliable speech. Through S2C™, students learn to communicate by pointing to letters on a letterboard or keyboard, enabling them to express their thoughts and ideas more fully.

Benefits: S2C™ empowers students with a voice, fostering meaningful connections and supporting families in advocating for their child’s academic, social, and emotional needs.

Services: One-on-one and group S2C™ sessions, Communication Regulation Partner Training for families and staff

Description: We offer one-on-one and group tutoring with trauma-informed, experienced teachers who specialize in personalized learning. Our services cover math, literacy, social studies, and science, with a focus on sensory needs and dyslexia using evidence based science of reading methods.

Benefits: Our skilled teachers provide individualized support, utilizing evidence-based strategies to help students of all learning styles succeed academically while building confidence and independence.

Services: One-on-one or Group Tutoring

Description: The 6 Types of Working Genius® framework helps individuals identify their natural strengths in productivity and teamwork. Follow-up coaching sessions are adapted to school and family applications.

Benefits: Understanding your Working Genius helps parents and students work more effectively, guiding students to recognize strengths and choose projects or career paths aligned with their skills.

Services: Working Genius Assessment, Follow-Up Coaching

Description: Our Student Advocacy services support families in navigating the educational system, offering expert advice and advocacy for accommodations or alternative educational placements.

Benefits: Families gain support in securing their child’s rights and needs. For students who may thrive in a non-traditional setting, we provide alternative school options focused on individualized learning and support.
